WELCOME
to the new home of Hilde and Allen. For those of you who have never visited the old Gull Cottage, let me introduce you to the inhabitants of this place. There is Allen the Boss of course, then there is little old me and last but not least there is Willy. We have settled way out here in the country for two reasons, first there is more room for Allen to build his airplane and second it is a nice quiet place just right to relax and retire in.


THE FARM
Being the farmer's daughter I am, it was just not possible to be sitting on two acres and not doing anything with it. So little by little we are planting things. Mostly with me coming up with the idea and Allen getting stuck with the work. So far we have planted a little citrus grove of two orange trees, one cumquat, one lime, one lemon and one mandarin tree. We have left room for one more blood orange tree, that will be planted as soon as we can find one :-).  For the herbs and vegies, Allen build a raised planter for me, so I don't have to bend over so much. That one is a real beauty and I do appreciate not having to be on my knees to plant anything.
